Gang,

We are putting an event for the third straight year taking recent graduates in the areas of Creative Arts & Media + IT from schools like Mohawk, Seneca/York, Ryerson, OCAD, Sheridan/York, Conestoga College, GBC, Wilfrid Laurier, University of Western Ontario, University of Waterloo, YorkU, Fanshawe and more to connect under one roof with up-to 50 upcoming agencies and companies in hopes that they may land an internship, a job or even a decent card. We call this years forum : GRADUATE 3.0

In part of our graduate series, attending guests come from all over; drink some beer; give industry insights; check out portfolios and well just have fun, in a very socially laid back atmosphere known as Steam Whistle. (behind Rogers Centre & Metro Convention Centre)

This is more of an invite to you agencies and companies who are looking to educate our recent grads in your foot. Hey if you find someone you like and keep for good - well that's all good. It has happened before. As it stands our registered agencies come in the following areas: Film, Interactive, Creative, Ad, Publishing, Hosting, Flex, Printing, Illustration, Industrial/Interior Art, Photography, Fashion, Communications, Non-Profit and Social.

Our list of agencies continue to grow, with less than 6 days left to register - this is pretty much a wonderful opportunity to take part in. Our Graduate 3.0 agencies include:

Putting an event this big was diffidently a milestone for us. We had a number of glitches along the way, like doors opening late, food not showing up at the time requested and there was a little mayhem in the laidback structure compared to your usual functional shows. Nevertheless, we improved each year from the feedbacks we gathered. As a result, this year we concluded with our best year yet - with a 91% turnout - agencies and graduates came out with some positive inputs. Returning graduates found this year much better and secured an array of contacts. Agencies and creatives found some great talent and potential interns. The night ended at 1am with one agency still going to the last mile and reviewing the last book. There is a lot we can do to make next year better. But without a doubt, I am very happy to say the least that this year - the attire was just perfect. Everyone came dressed in the format I was expecting and it did not feel like a prom.
