Hi Everyone!

I would like to save this group, but I need your help. I have had a couple groups on meetup and I know how hard it is to get people to attend the meetings. I’m guilty, and I apologize to the organizer. This group that Erica Brooks build is awesome. I just checked some of the businesses and there is event planning, event management, Traci Lynn jewelry, Silpada Designs, Premier Designs, real estate marketing, graphic/web designer, promotional marketing, Gold Canyon candles, Arbonne, Shaklee, home school services, photographers, Passion Parties to name a few.

A little about me, I was recently laid-off my job of 23 years as a Computer Application Specialist. This is the first time in 33 years that I have not had a job, but I have always had a business on the side in those 33 years. I am an eBay Trading Assistant and Education Specialist trained by eBay. I sell on eBay/Amazon and I teach others how to make money online. Did you know you can make residual income every month just by writing a few articles online? Some people are making hundreds of dollars a month. I also work as a mystery shopper, evaluating upscale restaurants, hotels, spas, vacation villas and cruise lines. I have my real estate license, but I am currently on inactive status. I use to be the Director/Organizer for the Maryland Wahmfest (Work at home moms expo).

I use to have a real estate investing meetup group that I stepped down from a few years. Someone picked up that group and it is still going strong.

How I need help?

1) Meetup ideas, how this group can help everyone, locations to meet

2) Meetup fees – if I was still employed I wouldn’t mind paying the fees, so I will need some help. I think $0.50- $1.00 from everyone will keep this group going for about a year or longer.

3) Assistant Organizer

A few ideas, I have in mind for the group?

1) Depending if anyone responds to this message, let’s have a meetup real soon

2) Maybe a business directory, because we have so many different businesses, and it’s good to support each other

3) Later… an expo

4) Mastermind meetings - (brainstorming with others, creating goals, holding each other accountable, and encouraging a positive mental attitude)

5) Questionnaire – website, Tell us about your business, what do you offer, who is your market, how can we help you?

6) Twitter/Facebook – discussion on social networking and your business
