Special Job Lab: Interview tips with Margaret Plowdrey
45 minute presentation followed by open lab until noon.

Margaret Plowdrey, President of Impact Marketing & Communications LLC, has been actively involved with the tourism industry for over 30 years. She has held managerial positions in numerous restaurants and hotels, and served as the Director of Membership & Publications for the GCCVB (Greater Cincinnati Convention & visitors Bureau) for over 16 years.

Margaret conducts a variety of service and sales oriented seminars that are customized to the clients needs and range from entry level to professional. She contracts with front-of-the house staffs to improve their customer relations as well as with sales managers to increase their sales potential. Other seminar topics include related issues to job hunting and training (resumes, interviewing, networking etc.)

As a professional photographer, her work has appeared in numerous visitor guides, covers of city phone books, several city guide books, a coffee table book, postcards as well as a number of promotional pieces including college brochures and Delta Sky Magazine.

Through Impact Marketing she handles the marketing and advertising for the Northern Kentucky River Region through the State of Kentucky, Dept of Tourism. Graphic design and website development are also marketed through her business.
